I realize some may be more comfortable with the more "politically correct" word substitutions found in the version but others like me, I guess think God's word is not "improved" when overlaid with our cultural preferences. In fact, the truth of God's word is far more likely to be compromised when we alter it to be more acceptable to the world. That said, I recognize some prefer the version.
